Not so with the barbecued half chicken which is always excellent. The sides are good especially the corn bread and baked beans, and the service is fast and friendly. UPDATE-1: Ordered a combination plate with pulled pork, 1/2 chicken, and ribs, plus two sides of baked beans. I hadn't had their ribs in quite a while and they were terrific. We took home the half chicken and pulled pork for another meal. ”

The food was ready quickly, hot and delicious. The staff were pleasant and professional. If I'd had the time that day, I'd have stayed to hang out at the bar or sat down at one of their nice tables to eat. The atmosphere is pleasant and inviting.
